Based in Burghfield Common,West Berkshire, I create entirely original gift caricature artwork for clients across the UK.
I graduated with a degree in Graphic Design and Illustration from Kingston university in 1975.
Starting my career working in advertising, I created pack designs and magic marker visuals for TV and magazine ads. Moving on to IPC Business Press in the 1980's, I was a designer on a variety of magazines, primarily health and nursing journals. I also devoted my time to book illustration, book jacket design, illustrations for a series of children's books by TV chat show host Michael Parkinson, called 'The Woofits'. I worked closely with my late father John Milsome, on a series of children's books, a great range of educational readers for The Oxford University Press. My caricature portraits have a proven track record of success, both locally and nationally for The Carbolic Smokeball company, www.carbolicsmokeballco.com the company catalogue containing items drawn, painted or even sewn by myself.
The success of this has led to this website!
I currently live with my partner Geoff in West Berkshire. I have four super kids, (three sons and a daughter). My other great interest is nature conservation, and am a member of the Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire Wildlife trust (BBOWT). It manages over 2,200 nature reserves.Become a volunteer!.... www.bbowt.org.uk.
